Project 365: Week 15

Wednesday 4/5/17
We got to see my parents! They had a layover in LA before returning back to Africa so they made it a long one and we played for a few hours. We hit up Tito's Tacos for lunch (of course), got the kids some Legos at Target, and sat on the grass across from In-N-Out (right by the airport) watching the HUGE planes come in overhead.

Thursday 4/6/17
Practicing tricks in the backyard.

Saturday 4/8/17
Will, Emma, and Daddy were going to St. George the following week (Taylor for work and the kids to hang out at Grandma's house!) so Will wanted to write some letters: To Grandpa in Las Vegas and Grandma and Uncle Evan in St. George. He hand delivered them when he saw them. I wrote out what he wanted to say and he copied them on his own paper. He's getting pretty good at writing and can't wait to go to kindergarten!

Project 365: Week 14

Monday 3/27/17
Emma's joy school group took a field trip to one of the local fire stations. However, when our group arrived they had to reschedule to later in the afternoon (they were out at the high school doing a presentation) so we went to the park first instead.
Then that afternoon, back at the fire station, they got to climb in the fire truck, learned about stop-drop-and-roll, learned a little about snakes (king snakes eat rattlers, did you know?) and they all got firemen hats and stickers to wear. And Luke wore his firetruck onesie. :)

Wednesday 3/19/17

After church we told the kids we could have popsicles in the backyard.
This was Emma's outfit choice:
