Starting with my niece Layla, each new grandchild on my side of the family has been given their own Jellycat--a super soft, snuggly stuffed animal that usually ends up becoming their best friend at nap time. Will's Jellycat is a giraffe. Even though the giraffe is almost as big as he is, today I decided to introduce the two of them. Like most 5 week olds (today!), Will couldn't do much but when I put the giraffe close enough to him he tried to put it in his mouth, sucked on it a little bit and promptly spit up. Yep, they are going to be great friends.
On another note, Will is starting to smile!
