Three little monkeys playing on the floor.
One that is two and another that's four.
The last is brand new, a sweet little mister,
Who patiently endures his brother and sister
Pulling and poking and tickling his feet,
Kissing baby brother that they've waited to meet.
Holding up baby toys, "Here, Luke!" they say.
They don't really get that he's too young to play.
They tell me he's tired, or hungry, or sad,
(They think they know better than mommy or dad.)
They squish him and tell him all kinds of fun things.
Sometimes he cries and then one of them sings.
A baby with two older siblings who love-
He fits our dear family like a soft squishy glove.
