The vacationing continues...

So we got home from California last Tuesday and by Thursday we were already leaving for another weekend trip. We have been trying to plan a trip with our good friends Jordan and Allie Wright for a long time and we finally did. Allie has a family friend with a cabin in Midway, UT and they let us have it for the weekend. It was a lot of fun. We played games, ate all of our meals outside overlooking the beautiful valley, watched movies, discussed Harry Potter for almost 2 hours one night (don't judge..), and tried to get Will to roll over in front of us (unsuccessfully--he only does it when nobody is watching).

Midway really is beautiful. The city has with lots of neat (some HUGE) homes, farmland, Swiss chalet style resorts and cabins, and of course, beautiful mountains all around it. While we were there we hiked around Cascade Springs...

We almost went swimming in this crater. We were misinformed and it unfortunately was NOT free to swim, but we did get to look around and it was pretty cool. This is not my picture (I stole it from a Google search) but this is the crater. The water is warm, 66 feet deep, and really clear. We could even see some scuba divers down on the bottom.

We will miss having the Wrights as neighbors, but we are glad that we finally got to go on our trip together. Hopefully it will be the first of many.

On another note, we also drove past the house where this was taken almost 2 1/2 years ago...
I am a lucky girl. Taylor is a wonderful husband and father and I love him so much. I am so glad that he picked me to be his wife and that he proposed to me that day, neck brace and all.
