Demolition day with Grandpa and Uncle Jack! Will loved helping. He insisted on wearing my gardening gloves, his bike helmet, and sunglasses for protection (everybody else was wearing some!) and followed Daddy and Grandpa around with his own toy tools. He worked so hard that he broke his toy hammer! The open walls you see used to be our kitchen. We also took out all the tile in the front room, front bathroom, and kitchen.

I tried to water the plants in the yard with the hose and, well, mostly just watered Will.

Linda came to stay with her parents for a couple weeks, so we got to go play with cousins at their house. Will, who got these elephant ears and tail at joy school, pretty much wore these all day, every day for the next several weeks.
Will is a good brother. I can tell he just loves everything, a pretty happy guy. So happy he has a backyard!
