Deer Valley with the Smiths

In October we made our semiannual trek up to Utah for General Conference and decided to make a little vacation of it. Some friends in our ward let us stay in their awesome cabin in Deer Valley and we also got to stay there with some of our favorite people, the Smiths! We both had family that we wanted to visit throughout the week (which we did), but in between we went hiking, fishing, rode the Alpine Slide, hit golf balls at a driving range, got ice cream at Dairy Keen in Midway, and the kids played for hours with pretty much nothing but a bunch of sticks and some Brainquest cards from Chick-fil-A. They were in best friend heaven.

And perfect three-month-old Luke pretty much ate, slept, or hung out in his swing (which Taylor somehow figured out how to fit in the car with his bike and golf clubs. I was impressed. And grateful.) the whole trip.
