Asheville, NC: Hooker Falls

The last of our Asheville adventures with the Donohues was a hike to Hooker Falls. (Okay, hike is a little generous. It was probably a longer walk to get to the parking lot from our car on the road, but the dirt trail means you can call it a hike, right?) Again, it was beautiful. I still can't get over just how green everything was. The falls themselves were a little crowded, but we walked a little downstream and it felt like we were by ourselves (even though we could still see everyone else). We hadn't planned on going in the water so we didn't bring swimsuits but the kids didn't care. Emma, Will and Sadie got completely soaked and loved it. (Luke got completely soaked and didn't love it as much.)

Seriously, I can't believe Levi was so small on this trip. 4 1/2 weeks old at this point.
Luke in this picture. :)
